Dan Kruse is the Vice President and Actuary of Individual Annuity Products at Securian Financial Group where he is responsible for the financial, risk management, administration and product development functions for Securian’s Individual Annuity business line. Dan has been active in the financial services industry for over 30 years, with the majority of that time focused in the annuity and retirement income marketplace. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Upper Iowa University and a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. Dan holds a Series 7 securities registration and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
